What “alon” means to us
Alon is the Filipino word for wave. Here's why we named the company after one, and what we're building under it.
Alon is the Filipino word for wave. We picked it because a wave is how change actually reaches most industries: not all at once, but in sets, one after another, until the shoreline looks different.
The industries we build for
A lot of important work in the Philippines still runs on notebooks, voucher pads, group chats and spreadsheets. Construction crews, trucking offices, court owners and event hosts all keep things moving by hand. That’s where we build.
Today that means four products:
- Dinkos for pickleball court owners: bookings, waitlists and tournaments.
- LaborTrack for construction: crew attendance that turns into payroll.
- SnapOnce for events: guests capture photos and voice notes that appear live on the big screen.
- KargaPro for trucking: every document behind a trip, from cash advance to client SOA, in one place.
Building with others
We also take on client work. If your operation has its own paper trail that needs replacing, tell us about it.
This blog is where we’ll share what we learn along the way.
